Commercial Street Diner was founded in 1994 by Roger and Linda Buffum within Emporia, Kansas. Its heartwarming foods and more than adequate portion sizes allow customers to never leave without being full. In 2010, the restaurant was bought out by the now owners Dave and Janet Laird who have had great success, as they have been recognized as the # 2 diner in Kansas.
